Gorgeous!
A beautiful muddler has to be made from beautiful wood. That's where color, grain contrasts, patterns and tightness of the grain come into play. There are over 100,000 varieties of wood. Getting the best for muddlers is a challenge but fun. The wood has to be hard, resist the elements - and of course be beautiful. Currently I am using 9 different varieties - Leopard wood, Bubinga, Bacote, Zapote, Wenge, and testing an amazing wood, IPE - considered to be the most durable wood in the world. I have Ash and Hard Maple from Wisconsin which are almost white. Still having a good time
